Stevie and the Guinness Factory

Hi friends and fam,

Yesterday I had the priviledge of visiting the holy Guinness museum with my new Faroese buddies and Teresa from Germany - one of their bunk mates and my newest friend. We had a great time. To get there we took the Dublin Tour Bus which allows you to see the major sights in town from the comfort of a seat atop an open air double-decker bus. Great day for it too: about 18 degrees with a warm sun peeking out on occasion from the clouds.

The ingredients display was incredible and straight out of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (Props to Meg!). There was an enormous sandbox of Barley, 16ft high Hops plants, a water fall, and...gross...a beeker of Yeast, unique to Guinness. All this was in one room. Other flours - oh yeah! The building itself is composed of 7 flours around an atrium in the shape of, you guessed it, a pint of friggin' Guinness. And where the foam is...yep...there's the Gravity bar, the museums apex and crown! The circular room has flour to ceiling windows which provide a 360 degree, eagle's view of Dublin and at the centre one can refresh themselves with a complimentary pint of Dublin's finest malty bev: Guuuuuiiiineeesh! Here's some pics of the fine time we had atop :

Cheers for now all, I'll drink enough for us all!! Hope you like the pics.

Love Stevie
