Hi all!
My first day in Dublin was a blast!
The flight was a little rough. We watched advertisements for tour packages and the movie Drill Bit Taylor - blah!
Arriving in Dublin and retrieving my gear was fine. Getting my bike together was also not a problem. People here are all to willing to give directions and help out.
While getting unpacked and freshening up in my hostel room (which is quite nice btw) I met a cool dude named Mason (Dallas). He mistook me for another roomate (he was distratced by his own gear so didn't realize I was who he thought I was). We had a good laugh at the blunder and decided to chill out together anyway. He introduced me to others here (Brian, Ryan, A girl from Australia (name?!...) We went out to a nearby pub for lunch (O'Shea) where I feasted on Lamb Stew and the most delicious pint of Guiness ever!!
From there we went to a few pubs along the Liffey and Temple bar. We watched some kitchey Irish music, Irish dancing. In Temple bar we had some good laughs, some deep fried chicken sticks (compliments of St. John Gogarty's. I needed several espressos to keep me going until 11 pm btw. I was going on 45 mins of sleep and I'm in a new time zone!
Had a great sleep and delicious breakfast. Though it's rainning again, I'm off to treck around the city.
More later!
Love to all!

Hey Steve, have fun on the trip=)) Dublin is a great place!
Did you take your bike with you? How does that work, with the air transportation?
The place that I didn't visit in Dublin and that I quite regret to this day (according to those been there it is THE pub) is the Cobblestone.
Cheers! Keep the updates coming!=)
